Fredric M. Knapp will be installed in office for 2008 as a Trustee of the Morris County Bar Association at a dinner held on January 16, 2008, at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey.
James T. Prusinowski, an associate in the Labor and Employment Department, will be speaking with a distinguished panel of Morris County attorneys concerning employment law matters. The event is sponsored by the Morris County Bar Association, Labor and Employment Committee, of which Jim is a member. Specifically, Jim will be discussing administrative processes that must be exhausted prior to filing employment cases in federal and state courts. He will also discuss several new United States Supreme Court Cases that may alter how employment claims can be brought into court. The forum will be held in the Morris County Courthouse on January 10, 2008

Mario Delmonaco, Esq., will soon be joining our ever growing firm. He will be working in the Morristown office with William Laufer, primarily on matrimonial matters. Mario brings with him the experience he's gained from his role as Law Clerk to Judge Thomas V. Manahan, Family Division, Morris County Courthouse, Associate to Bradford Bury, Esq., General Practitioner, and his experience as an intern with the Union County Prosecutor's Office.
The Firm's Matrimonial Department is scheduled to begin teaching Family law starting on September 18, 2007 at the Madison Paralegal Studies Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. This will be a great way for the aspiring paralegals to obtain an education in Family law.
Team Laufer will be again walking in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 21. We have raised a significant amount of money through generous donations the past two years we have participated in this event and hope to be successful in recruiting many walkers and raising significant funds this year as well.
Joe Cadicina, Esq., sits on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Chapter of the American Heart Association.

Kim Gronau, Esq., got married on August 18 to Harrison Boyd. They had a wonderful wedding in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

We are happy to announce the latest addition to the Laufer, Knapp family. Jennifer McInerney, a member of the family department, and her husband Adam McInerney are the proud parents of Ryan Sullivan McInerney who was born on April 6 weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces. The mother and baby are healthy and happy.
Joe Cadicina, a partner in the Matrimonial Department, will be a panelist for a seminar given by the New Jersey Law Center on the 40 most important Family Law cases in New Jersey and their implications. Joe will be presenting with other distinguished panelists to family attorneys and other practitioners. The seminar will take place on June 16.

The firm is happy to announce that Kimberly Gronau has been named a member of the firm. Kim will continue her practice in all matters relating to family law and domestic relations, including divorce litigation, custody matters and domestic violence.
Jim Jensen has joined Laufer, Knapp, Dalena, Trimboli & Cadicina, L.L.C. as a member of the firm. Jim focuses his work in the areas of workers compensation, personal injury, municipal court, and family law. Prior to joining the firm, Jim was a solo practitioner in Morristown.
In February, Stephen Trimboli and Jim Prusinowski gave a presentation to Monmouth County employers regarding the benefits and pitfalls of drug testing employees. The presentation was given in cooperation with Prevention First, for which Steve is a board member. The Governmental Council for a Drug Free America was also a presenter.
In April, Fred Knapp will be a key lecturer for the New Jersey Law Center in an Administrative Law forum. Those in attendance will likely include new and experienced attorneys looking to learn more about practicing in the administrative agencies. Presenters will also include several of the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law Judges.
