Three Laufer, Knapp, Dalena, Trimboli & Cadicina, LLC Attorneys named 2008 New Jersey Rising Stars

Three Laufer, Knapp, Dalena, Trimboli & Cadicina, L.L.C. Attorneys — Joseph P. Cadicina, Jennifer L. McInerney and Kimberly N. Gronau Boyd — were named 2008 Rising Star Lawyers in the August issue of New Jersey Monthly.

The designation is based on surveys of more than 35,000 lawyers across New Jersey who have been licensed to practice for five years or more. The surveys are conducted through the independent research of Law & Politics magazine. Only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in New Jersey are named Rising Stars.

Joseph P. Cadicina, was recently named the managing partner of Laufer Knapp. In addition to his litigation practice, he performs Divorce Mediation for clients. He is a Court Approved Economic Mediator in family law cases and serves as an Early Settlement Panelist for the Court. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mark M. Russello, J.S.C., Family Division, Bergen County. He is a Barrister in the Northern NJ Family Law Inns of Court and serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern, New Jersey American Heart Association and its Gala committee.

Jennifer L. McInerney, a partner in the firm since 2005, provides balance in her litigation style; she is compassionate when dealing with her clients’ emotions but an aggressive advocate inside the courtroom. Although experienced in all areas of family law, Jennifer is especially known for her appellate practice and domestic violence litigation. She served a judicial clerkship in the Superior Court, Family Part. She volunteers as an Early Settlement Panelist for the Family Court in Morris County and also provides pro bono legal representation to battered women and children through the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project.

Kimberly N. Gronau Boyd has practiced family law exclusively since serving a judicial clerkship. Her tireless work ethic and devotion to her clients earned her a partnership within five years of joining the firm. Kimberly’s extensive litigation experience ranges from premarital agreements to custody and relocation matters. Kimberly provides pro bono legal representation to battered women through the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project, volunteers for the Legal Clinic at Morris County College, is an expert panelist for the Morris County Early Settlement Program, and is also a member of the Junior League of Morristown.
